Stanford General Store

Show Low Pines Subdivision is located a few miles North and Northeast of the Stanford General Stanford.

Stop by the Stanford General Store for all your household needs, grab a snack or to fill up on some pizza and deli items, grab some gas, diesel, and propane, you can also do laundry, take a shower, get hardware, bulk water sales, and they have a water-testing lab, a Notary, you can Fax, do Copies, get on WiFi and much more at the Stanford General Store.

The bar is popular and has live music on Friday and Saturday nights as well as karaoke on Wednesdays hosted by Marty Bernal. The bar and store both open at 9 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m., except on Sundays when they close at 6 p.m.

There are several lakes and local rivers in the area, a local favorite is Fool Hollow Lake. It’s a large lake with a park around it, surrounded by a national forest. There are hiking trails, tall pine trees, year-round camping, fishing, boating, kayaking and a vast array of wildlife. Show Low also has a city park, as well as a Museum. Check out the Local Black Horse Brewery, or take a hike on the Show Low Bluff trail. The ultimate outdoorsman loves the White Mountains. These mountains are locals’ favorites for hunting, camping, game, and fish. The Bison Golf Club is also a top favorite among those who like to golf. Show Low has an endless adventure for anyone to find pleasure in.

Show Low Pines is just 45 minutes from Lake State Park is a 1,200-acre park that encompasses the shoreline of a 1,500-acre reservoir at an elevation of 6,000 feet. It is fed by snowmelt from the slopes of Mount Baldy and Escudilla Mountain, the second and third highest mountains in Arizona. Water is channeled into this river valley from a 790-square-mile watershed extending into New Mexico.
